Genium360 aim to support the development of entrepreneurial projects stemming from public research and led by engineering students or engineering graduates. The goal is to attract private funding to act as a leverage effect in the creation of companies led by engineers, engineering students, or engineering graduates. Through Genium360, Axelys seeks to foster the maturation of these projects and accelerate their deployment in the field. An amount of up to $15,000 may be awarded per project and will serve as a leverage for the PSO v2d program.
- Typical applicant profile: The project aims to create a spin-off company.
- Eligibility: At least one key team member must be an engineering graduate or student. The students or graduates must come from a Québec institution.
- Intellectual property: The project must leverage intellectual property arising from public research.
- Funding amount: Up to $15,000.
- Funding type: Private contribution. The funding must serve as leverage for a PSO or an equivalent program.
- Application deadline: may 22, 2026. The request can be sent directly to investissements@axelys.ca
