The Innovation Zones (IZ) and Innovation Centers (IC) aim to develop and commercialize innovations in cutting-edge technology sectors and areas of strategic importance to Quebec.
To support IZ/IC’s efforts, the Innovation Continuum program is designed to provide them with the support they need to create more innovative companies, make it easier for them to carry out innovation projects, and accelerate the transfer of innovations resulting from public research to companies and stakeholders.
In this context, the Innovation Continuum initiative will offer financial support to IZ/ICs for the following three areas:
- support scientific entrepreneurship stemming from the research activities of institutions through Axelys resources and programs.
- By funding resources deployed in the field, proactively encourage and support collaborations between the public research community, partners and stakeholders.
- by financing dedicated staff, ensure the pooling of IZ/IC equipment for the benefit of the user community.
