Axelys and FORPIQ: White Paper on the Socioeconomic Impact of Knowledge Transfer from Public Research

Axelys, in collaboration with FORPIQ, is releasing today the white paper titled “Assessing the socio-economic impact generated by the transfer of knowledge derived from public research”.

This document highlights a strategic challenge for Canada: despite significant investments in public research, the resulting economic and societal impacts remain difficult to measure and are often underestimated.

Through this publication, Axelys and FORPIQ aim to contribute to a structured discussion on evaluating the impacts of public research and on ways to strengthen Canada’s capacity to transform its scientific discoveries into sustainable economic and societal impacts.

The white paper is intended primarily for public policymakers, research institutions, funding agencies, and stakeholders in innovation and commercialization.

Enjoy the read.
