A New Innovation Support Unit for the Energy Transition in Quebec
Axelys is proud to support the Energy Transition Valley (VTÉ) with an investment of $665,000 through its Innovation Continuum program, supported by Quebec’s Ministry of Economy, Innovation, and Energy (MEIE). This funding will enable the creation of an innovation support unit dedicated to the energy transition, as part of a two-year project totaling over $1 million.
The project relies on two partners active in the field: the RQEI—Quebec Smart Energy Network, which brings together 11 universities and 7 CEGEPs, and the Escouade Énergie—Consortium of CCTTs for Energy Transition, which unites 19 CCTTs across 10 regions of Quebec.
The objectives:
- Support more than 20 science-based entrepreneurship projects;
- Support 25 collaborative innovation projects;
- Connect more than 75 companies, organizations, and institutions;
- Potentially generate more than $4 million in innovation investments.
