RNA Entrepreneurship initiative

The RNA Entrepreneurship initiative aims to develop and support new, high-potential companies in RNA therapeutics.

Designed to support students and postdoctoral fellows in Quebec’s academic laboratories, this program offers support for scientific entrepreneurship in RNA by providing entrepreneurial guidance from experts and incubators essential to the creation of startups.

The RNA Entrepreneurship initiative can provide financial support to the most promising companies, with a contribution of up to $80,000. In addition to coaching, support may include the creation of a business plan, an IP review, a competitor analysis, a technology development plan, the validation of costs with external suppliers, an analysis of regulatory constraints, a financial model and the development of a human resources plan.

The RNA Entrepreneurship initiative is part of the mobilizing RNA project put forward by the Quebec government in April 2024.
