I’m passionate about supporting researchers in transforming their ideas into innovations, thereby contributing to Québec’s economic and social prosperity.

As a Legal Adviser, I focus on drafting agreements regarding technology transfer, policy advice in terms of intellectual property protection for public research institutions as well as training and raising awareness of IP issues within the innovation ecosystem. My specialization in the field of IP law includes proofing and drafting research contracts, financing agreements and business contracts. Working closely with business development teams, researchers, research institutes and business partners alike, my goal is to align the interests of the various parties involved to promote rigorous management of IP rights. This gives great value to ideas stemming from public research and thus encourages their transformation into innovations.

As a Legal Adviser, I play an essential role in giving Québec’s public research results their rightful value. My mission is to negotiate and draft technology transfer agreements, thus ensuring the protection and commercialization of high-potential innovations. I also provide strategic advice to research establishments and researchers on the protection of their IP. By facilitating the transition of innovations to the marketplace, my work contributes directly to the development of Québec’s innovation ecosystem.

As a Lawyer working in Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property, I coach Québec’s research facilities in commercializing their innovations. Beyond negotiating and drafting various business agreements, I also serve as legal counsel in terms of IP strategy and financing. The goal is for innovative ideas stemming from the scientific, social and cultural fields to consistently reach their full potential and resoundingly come to fruition both in Québec and abroad. And because my approach is focused on people, in my commercialization work, the interests, efforts and ambitions of researchers and businesspeople take centre stage.
